Fall Mahjong League is a social league that offers a 5-week series designed for players who want to gather, play, and enjoy Mahjong in a fun and welcoming social setting. Spend Fall evenings with good company, Mahjong tiles, light refreshments, and a little friendly competition while enjoying the slower pace and Fall feel of the season. Whether you are continuing from Mahjong 101 or already have regular playing experience, this series is a great way to keep your game sharp and the tiles moving this Fall. Weather permitting, sessions will be held outdoors on the patio or lawn so players can enjoy the Fall. In the event of rain or extreme heat, play will move indoors to an air-conditioned room for comfort. Scores will still be tracked for fun throughout the 5 weeks, leading up to a lighthearted championship night with prizes for top players. As always, Greenwich Mahjong Club offers both Chinese and American Mahjong tables. Choose your game -- the tiles are waiting. Please note: This league is intended for players who are comfortable with the basics of Mahjong, including general rules, flow of play, and hand selection. Players who prefer a fully instructional environment may benefit more from Mahjong 101 or private lessons.
